Description
Water-based end grain timber preservative for the retreatment of cut or bored pressure treated timber. A brush on protection where no topcoat is required. Fungicide specifically formulated for use against wood rotting fungi and Algae, Lichen, mould & other growths on hard surfaces. Can treat cut bare wood to Use Class 2 and UC3.
When cross cutting, notching or boring treated timber products during installation, ALWAYS apply an end grain preservative treatment to freshly exposed areas – to maintain the integrity of the protection. All site cuts of pressure treated timber are required under building regulations to be re-treated.

Advice:
Liberally brush apply the ESP Timber to any cuts, notches and drilled areas exposed on the treated timbers revealed during use or installation to maintain the integrity of the preservative protection.
Care should always be taken when applying ESP Timber product to cut ends and notches, that any overlap onto a treated timber face that is going to be exposed and seen as a natural face, should be wiped off to prevent uneven weathering. Treated timbers going into ground contact Use Class 4 situations should not be cut at the ground contact end of the component.
Application:
Apply by brush or low-pressure sprayer.
Apply at 200ml/m² (1L per 5m²).
Product may require 2-3 coats to achieve required finish/loading, depending on porosity of surface.
Drying Time:
Touch dry within 2 hours depending on drying conditions and humidity.
