August is a fabulous month with the garden in full bloom. Apart from the weekly mowing of the lawn and occasional weeding it’s a time to enjoy the garden basking in the sunshine with a hot barbeque sizzling away.

Edinburgh is the city to be in this month for its huge array of festivals with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Art Festival, International Festival, International Book Festival and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. This months colours are inspired by Edinburgh City’s warm and rich colour palette.
