January was a month full of rain that at some points seemed as if an ark was about to crest the horizon. Feeling optimistic leading in to February the rain at least meant that there has been warmer weather and plenty of water for plants waiting to emerge. My garden has been the inspiration for this month’s colours as winter flowers such as Cyclamen, Hellebore’s and Snowdrops add a nice splash of colour to the muddy beds and grass.
