A woodland wonder in Macclesfield
The Love your Garden team created a woodland wonder in Macclesfield.
This week’s garden in Macclesfield was long and thin with lots of different and dangerous levels, which meant it was really tricky for Elle (the wife of carl and mother of 3 young children) to get into it….so the Love Your Garden team created a terrace with a BBQ area outside the backdoor, which provided a great view of the garden and beyond.
They installed a lift down to the rest of the garden making it accessible for the first time in years. Perfect.
Alan designed a garden with a woodland and natural feel, with willow fencing, a natural pergola made with branches and a floating wooden boardwalk. With plenty of trees and woodland plants to soften the edges.
A seating area, a fire pit and even a mini adventure playground meant there was something for everyone.
At the bottom of the garden there was a studio, perfect for watching the stars. The studio and the wendy house were both painted with our Royal Exterior Dove Grey and the windows and doors painted in the contrasting Royal Exterior Heritage Blue. The subtle colours tied in perfectly and looked wonderful.
