What is it with black and grey?

Abundance of Black and Grey Wood Stain

If you have picked up a magazine or scrolled through Pinterest and Instagram lately you won’t have failed to notice the abundance of black and grey. Gone are the subtle colours and muted shades and instead they are replaced with big bold dark statement colours.

In the garden we have seen everything from fences to summerhouses, outdoor kitchens to pergolas, decking to raised beds and bike sheds to bin cupboards painted black. It provides a dramatic back drop as well as appearing modern and fresh.

And the trend appears to have moved inside with boot rooms, staircases, kitchens, doors and windows all receiving the dark treatment.

As all our ranges are water based with low odour and low VOC it makes them safe to use indoors and out. It also makes them child, pet and plant safe too…so you can paint with confidence.

We have a wide choice of blacks across our ranges depending on the finish you would like.
