A wildlife haven

This week the Love Your Garden team created a wildlife haven for a lovely family in Leeds. (If you missed it you can catch up on ITVX!) Penny and her husband ran a Hedgehog Hospital which meant that the whole garden was dominated with seven sheds, (not small ones that hold a few tools but big walk-in versions).

The solution- was to paint them all in our Royal Exterior Sage Leaf.  Sage Leaf is a muted soft sage green that is very versatile and perfectly complements all environments inside and out.

The colour uniformity of the sheds meant that they became a stylish backdrop to the garden rather than the feature. Taking centre stage was the most beautiful garden that gently twisted and turned.  No hard landscaping just soft edges, curves, a circular patio with a fire pit, a grassy garden that slipped into a pond, insect loving willowy plants, trees and bushes and rustic homemade benches made from sleepers.

The childen had a play area including a climbing frame painted in Royal Exterior Iris Blue and the swing painted in Royal Exterior Guardsman Red. 

The simple looking garden highlighted the genius of the LYG team.
