We all scream for ice-cream

Summer has arrived. It’s time for BBQ’s, long iced drinks, a glass or two of something pink and of course ice-cream and sorbet!

We have taken inspiration from the freezer with the Harriet bench from Zest Outdoor Living.  Painted in soft, pastel colours it looks good enough to eat.  These pretty muted colours add a subtle dash of colour to a garden or outside space.  They would work well on a playhouse, in an artist’s studio, on a wall or even on planters.  But of course, you could use just one of these beautiful colours on its own!

The bench was new, but had been pressured treated, so had a green hue to it. To ensure that the new pale colours looked their best, we used a stain blocking primer first.  Our stain blocking primer is effective at blocking tannins, pressure treated chemicals, rust and other colours coming through to the topcoat.  This will make sure that the bench looks as good as possible for as long as possible.
