Decking Stain - Forest Green

As the name suggests this is a dark green from the forests of old. This rich wood stain will cover over existing colours and dirt get into cracks and fully revamp any timber decks, steps, balustrade and rails. Decking Stain is very hard wearing and is non oily.

Like most wood stains it can easily be applied by brush and also by roller, sprayer or paint pad. For best results apply at least two coats, the first will act as a primer and may soak into the timber unevenly depending on the porosity and any previous coatings present, the second coat evens everything up to a lush deep green.

Protek Decking Stain has been specially formulated to give all types of external timber decking an enriching colour that is hard wearing and lasts.

Once applied Protek Decking Stain leaves behind a hard durable surface that can withstand everyday foot traffic. It is a water based acrylic and Alkyd hybrid that incorporates a polyurethane dispersion based on linseed oil, a natural renewable resource.

This waterproofing stain can also be used to colour and protect hardwood and softwood garden furniture, summerhouses etc.
